The Knicks and Landry Shamet have agreed to a deal that returns the veteran guard to New York after a two-month hiatus, his agent told SNY’s Ian Begley on Sunday.

In a corresponding move, the Knicks waived forward Matt Ryan.

Shamet, 27, originally signed Sept. 14 with the Knicks but got waived Oct. 19 after he dislocated his shoulder in an Oct. 15 preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets.

New York added Shamet to the Westchester Knicks, its G League affiliate, after selecting him on Oct. 26 in the 2024 G League Draft.

In four preseason games with the Knicks, Shamet averaged 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 22.1 minutes.

Shamet spent the 2023-24 season with the Washington Wizards and averaged 7.1 points in 15.8 minutes.
