NASCAR driver Christopher Bell is on a roll that has him clearly making his mark for a possible championship.
Bell recovered from a disappointing showing in the Daytona 500 to put together a three-race winning streak.
He became the first driver in the new car era to win three consecutive races, which matched his win total from 2024.
During his career he has won 12 Cup races and will be looking to make it four in a row at Las Vegas this weekend.
Bell edged out teammate Denny Hamlin to win at Phoenix Raceway.
He is second in points trailing William Byron with Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott rounding out the top five.
Kyle Larson is the defending race winner at Las Vegas and will be looking to return to the win column and the Chase this year.
In other racing news: There are improvements being made at the legendary Winchester Speedway with plans for new lighting and other renovations.
The track will host racing on eight weekends this year which is up from two or three race weekends in recent years.
The USAC Silver Crown cars return on May 4 and the 500 Sprint Car Tour will be making their first ever appearance on June 29.
The 54th running of the Winchester 400 with the ASA Super Late Models is set for Oct. 12.
The Winchester 400 will top off three days of racing on the half-mile with the JEGS pro late models, Street Stocks, and Sportsman Late Models in action.
The Kenyon Midget Series has finalized the 2025 season with 13 races scheduled.
The Series will be at Anderson Speedway three times, Salem Speedway on the quarter-mile twice, two trips to the Indianapolis Speedrome and two dates at the Sportsdrome Speedway.
Other venues include three Michigan tracks with returns to Berlin Raceway and Kalamazoo Speedway, and a first-time trip to Owosso Speedway.
Seven of the events will take place with the 500 Sprint Car Tour.
The lone dirt race will take place at Paragon Speedway on May 31.
It appears the car counts will be up in 2025 with several new drivers looking to compete for Redline Ace Rookie of the Year honors.
