Keegan Bradley has become the latest PGA Tour star to comment on Patrick Reed’s imminent return.
Reed announced on Wednesday that he had decided to quit LIV Golf ahead of the 2026 season.
He will spend most of the year on the DP World Tour before being allowed to play on the PGA Tour again in late August.

Bradley has welcomed Reed back to the PGA Tour because he wants all the best players to compete against each other.
“I think it’s great,” Bradley explained. “Any time we can add players like Patrick Reed, a major champion and a Ryder Cup star, I think it’s great.
“I think what’s happening in the game is that guys are free agents now and can go around and do what they want to do. Obviously, Patrick wants to come back to the PGA Tour.”
The former United States Ryder Cup captain recognizes that it’s a difficult situation, but he agrees with the PGA Tour’s decision.

“I think it’s a tricky situation, and I think you need to deal with it per player,” Bradley added. “I think it’s smart to let players come back who want to come back and play the tour.
“I was really excited to hear about Brooks… his penalty was sharp. Any time you can bring back a player of Patrick Reed’s caliber, I think that’s a great thing.”

Bradley was also asked whether he expects Reed to say anything else before he makes his return later this year.
Some players may demand more explanation or even an apology, but Bradley is already convinced that Reed cares about the PGA Tour.

“Personally, I don’t need to hear anything,” Bradley replied. “I love the fact that we’re getting another amazing player back.
“He’s a major champion, and he’s going to help our United States teams in the future. Just the fact that he wants to come back tells me how excited he is to be back on the PGA Tour.”
