Kai Trump, the eldest grandchild of President-elect Donald J. Trump, completed her varsity golf season with the Benjamin School on Wednesday at the Florida Class 1A state championship at Mission Inn Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills.
Trump, a 17-year-old junior, shot 75 (4-over) in the second round to finish the two-day tournament at 13-over and 49th place overall. The Benjamin School girls team finished 10th for the tournament.
After shooting an 80 in Tuesday’s first round, Trump improved significantly on the tournament’s second day. She limited herself to just three bogeys and a double bogey while clawing a stroke back with a birdie on hole No. 4.
Trump is committed to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami in the 2026 recruiting class.

Trump ranks inside Florida’s top 200 girls varsity golfers for the 2024 season with a stroke average of 39.1 across 15 rounds entering Wednesday’s final round.
She put together her finest round of the season with a scoring average of 33 in the Bucs’ match against Oxbridge Academy at the Breakers Ocean Course on Sept. 5.
