Juventus and Bologna are closing in on a unique swap deal as the final hours of the January transfer window approach.

According to Orazio Accomando, the two clubs are advancing in talks over a move that would see Emil Holm head to Turin while João Mário makes the switch to the Rossoblù. The operation is expected to be structured as a loan with an option to buy for both players.

Holm, who has been the subject of interest from several other Serie A clubs throughout the month, now appears destined for the Bianconeri. Despite the competition for the Swedish wing-back, Juventus have moved decisively to leapfrog the field and are now on the verge of sealing the agreement.

The exchange would provide Luciano Spalletti with a physical reinforcement on the flank, while giving the Rossoblu the Portuguese wing-back to bolster their central options for the second half of the season. Final details are being ironed out, but there is strong confidence that the deal will be finalized before the deadline.
