It doesn’t hit with quite the impact the hiring of Matt Nagy as offensive coordinator does, but the New York have added one more defensive assistant to John Harbaugh’s coaching staff.

The Giants are expected to hire Baltimore Ravens outside linebackers coach Matt Robinson as assistant defensive line coach, per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.

Robinson spent five seasons with the Ravens after playing and coaching at the University of Maryland. Robinson was an assistant defensive line coach and outside linebackers coach during his time with Baltimore. Robinson also spent two years as a graduate assistant at the University of Connecticut.

Robinson was considered “the Xs and Os guy” behind the Baltimore pass rush.
