John Cena has decided to shift his interest and focus towards the silver screen and has played several big roles. His part as Peacemaker has taken off in a big way as well, with the star as one of the lead focuses in the DC Universe at present under James Gunn. While it remains to be seen what happens to his character next after season 2 of the show finished airing last year, he also brought another chapter of his life to a close.

In a match against Gunther, Cena finally retired after he was forced to tap out. The retirement was a long time coming and had a full tour so that the star could face some of his biggest opponents over the many years of his career as a farewell.

Unfortunately, it seems that despite making the decision to bring his in-ring career to an end, the star is still suffering. He appears to be in pain and recent footage has emerged of him walking with his wife, where it seems he is in pain simply walking.

He was seen struggling to even get out of the car in the video, something that is unimaginable for the record-holding WWE Champion.

Unfortunately it appears that the wrestling has taken a toll on his body, something that he mentioned previously as well, when retiring, saying that he could no longer do what he used to in the ring.

Now that he has retired, hopefully his body will be able to recover with the rest he is receiving, even if his schedule is still heavily packed even after he left the world of wrestling.
