John Cena has reacted to WWE posting mystery teasers on social media. The company has been teasing something huge, potentially the return of more than one superstar.
Cena’s latest appearance on WWE television was at Crown Jewel: Perth. He defeated AJ Styles in their last-ever match. The Last Real Champion has just four more remaining dates, with his next appearance scheduled for the November 10th episode of RAW.
On Instagram, Cena shared a photo from the first mystery teaser shared by WWE. Many have speculated that the man in the video could be the returning Gunther. Rumors have suggested that the former World Heavyweight Champion could be Cena’s final opponent.

Natalya predicted John Cena to face The Miz before his retirement
Natalya predicted John Cena to share the ring with The Miz before retiring from Professional Wrestling. Cena and The Miz have a lot of history, having shared the ring at WrestleMania and on multiple other occasions.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, the former WWE Divas Champion had this to say:
“I’m going with a wild card. I would like to see The Miz. They had such great matches. Their chemistry was so good and in a lot of ways, you know, Miz is one of those hidden…I don’t even know if he’s a hidden treasure, but he’s the guy that if you wanna get something off the ground, in my opinion, you turn to Miz. He’s so reliable…I think Miz isn’t talked about enough. But I would love to see Miz be one of John’s final matches. If he’s not his final match, I’d love to see him be in the running for one of his final matches.”
John Cena’s final few opponents are yet to be confirmed by WWE. He is set to appear at Survivor Series 2025 before competing in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII.
