NASCAR is heading to Las Vegas for the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Some key drivers will have an opportunity to make a run at the checkered flag in the first mile-and-half track of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Those key drivers include back-to-back Daytona 500 winner William Byron and already two-time winner this season Christopher Bell and the two drivers who have won the last three Las Vegas races, Kyle Larson and Joey Logano.

Here are 15 drivers to watch in the Pennzoil 400 NASCAR race at Las Vegas.

Joey Logano

Team: Team Penske

Age: 34

Hometown: Middletown, Connecticut

Crew chief: Paul Wolfe

What to know: The three-time, and defending, NASCAR Cup Series champion won the last time the series was at Las Vegas and has four wins at Las Vegas in the Cup Series.

Kyle Larson

Team: Hendrick Motorsports

Age: 32

Hometown: Elk Grove, California

Crew chief: Cliff Daniels

What to know: Larson, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, has three wins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including last year’s Pennzoil 400.

Alex Bowman

Team: Hendrick Motorsports

Age: 31

Hometown: Tucson, Arizona

Crew chief: Blake Harris

What to know: Bowman won the 2022 Pennzoil 400 and has plenty of success on mile-and-a-half oval racetracks.

William Byron

Team: Hendrick Motorsports

Age: 27

Hometown: Charlotte, North Carolina

Crew chief: Rudy Fugle

What to know: Byron, the two-time defending Daytona 500 winner, is one of the better drivers on the circuit on every type of racetrack and won the 2023 Pennzoil 400.

Chase Elliott

Team: Hendrick Motorsports

Age: 29

Hometown: Dawsonville, Georgia

Crew chief: Alan Gustafson

What to know: Elliott, the 2020 Cup Series champion, won on a 1.5-mile track last year with a win at Texas Motor Speedway. Elliott has not yet won at Las Vegas, but his ability to win on intermediate tracks always makes him a contender.

Brad Keselowski

Team: RFK Racing

Age: 41

Hometown: Rochester, Michigan

Crew chief: Jeremy Bullins

What to know: Keselowski, the 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion, has three wins at Las Vegas, the last coming in 2018. Keselowski has also improved drastically from his first two seasons at RFK Racing, even picking up a win at Darlington last year and being in contention at other races throughout the season.

Ross Chastain

Team: Trackhouse Racing

Age: 32

Hometown: Alva, Florida

Crew chief: Phil Surgen

What to know: Chastain has not yet won at Las Vegas but won at the track that most resembles Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway. Chastain won the playoff race at Kansas last fall and could be another strong contender this season.

Christopher Bell

Team: Joe Gibbs Racing

Age: 30

Hometown: Norman, Oklahoma

Crew chief: Adam Stevens

What to know: Bell won two of the first three races this season for the first time since Kevin Harvick did it in 2018. Bell has not won at Las Vegas Motor Speedway yet but is always a contender wherever the NASCAR Cup Series goes.

Ryan Blaney

Team: Team Penske

Age: 31

Hometown: Hartford, Ohio

Crew chief: Jonathan Hassler

What to know: Ryan Blaney won three times in 2024, all vastly different racetracks including Iowa Speedway, Pocono and Martinsville. He has not yet won at Las Vegas, but Blaney’s ability to win at different types of tracks gives him a chance to contend.

Denny Hamlin

Team: Joe Gibbs Racing

Age: 44

Hometown: Chesterfield, Virginia

Crew chief: Chris Gayle

What to know: Denny Hamlin has one win at Las Vegas, 2021. Last season, Hamlin won three races before May but did not win again as he saw another chance for his first championship end in the Round of 8.

Tyler Reddick

Team: 23XI Racing

Age: 29

Hometown: Corning, California

Crew chief: Billy Scott

What to know: Reddick, a Championship 4 driver from last season, has a NASCAR Xfinity Series win, a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win at Las Vegas and holds the Truck Series record for fastest lap of 143.163 miles per hour, set on Oct. 1, 2016.

Chris Buescher

Team: RFK Racing

Age: 32

Hometown: Prosper, Texas

Crew chief: Scott Graves

What to know: Chris Buescher was oh-so-close to winning in 2024, whether it was a late-race incident or getting passed late in the race, Buescher is always a strong competitor. Buescher does not have a win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, yet.

Austin Cindric

Team: Team Penske

Age: 26

Hometown: Mooresville, North Carolina

Crew chief: Brian Wilson

What to know: Cindric has two career NASCAR Cup Series wins, the 2022 Daytona 500 (his Cup Series debut) and last year’s race at Gateway. While he’s struggled this season so far, Cindric consistently has his No. 2 car toward the front and is always a driver to keep an eye on.

Chase Briscoe

Team: Joe Gibbs Racing

Age: 30

Hometown: Mitchell, Indiana

Crew Chief: James Small

What to know: Briscoe has seen a resurgence in his move from now-defunct Stewart-Haas Racing to Joe Gibbs Racing. Briscoe started on pole for the Daytona 500 (and had his post-race penalty rescinded from that race) and has run decently so far this season.

Kyle Busch

Team: Richard Childress Racing

Age: 39

Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada

Crew chief: Randall Burnett

What to know: Kyle Busch hasn’t won a NASCAR Cup Series race since 2023, the longest drought of his career. That said, he is always a threat on 1.5-mile tracks. Busch has one NASCAR Cup Series win at Las Vegas, in 2009, two NASCAR Xfinity Series wins in 2016 and 2019 and four wins in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (2018-20, 2023).
