On RAW, Reigns and Punk came face-to-face for the first time in months, and during the promo, the World Heavyweight Champion mentioned the former’s family. Taking to his Instagram story, Reigns’ cousin, Jey, shared a message
“So much hate on dis mf Ill never hate on my own family. We lift each other up, the whole tryna keep us down.. WE still runnin shi. Flowers to mines,” wrote Jey.

Roman Reigns spoke highly of Jey Uso before his World Heavyweight Championship last year at WrestleMania
Roman Reigns praised Jey Uso, stating that he was happy to see him push the ceiling and gain a better understanding of him. The OTC added that there will be disagreements within the family, but also said that he was proud of the now-former World Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Roman Reigns said:
“It’s good to see him being able to push the ceiling and now he understands me a little bit better. You know, you talk to him after Saturday, you talk to him after this weekend, and he’s gonna understand the elevation a little better. He probably already does. I’m sure he’s been busy as hell this whole week. I’m just so proud of him.
