Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed his intention to rotate his Marseille squad ahead of Saturday night’s Ligue 1 fixture against Le Havre (21:05 CET), with Dutch goalkeeper Jeffrey De Lange set to start in place of Gerónimo Rulli according to a report from La Provence, confirmed by Get French Football News.

Speaking in Friday’s press conference, De Zerbi hinted that changes were coming. “I have to find the right solutions and continue to rotate to avoid injuries,” said the Italian at a press conference attended by Get French Football News.

The Italian coach stopped short of directly naming his goalkeeper, but sources close to the club confirm that De Lange will indeed start at the Vélodrome, barring a late change of plan. The 27-year-old is being rewarded with another opportunity after previously featuring in the 3–0 win over Lorient before the international break.

As with that match, Rulli’s late return from South America has influenced the decision. De Lange, who was linked with Lille in the summer, will have another chance to impress after a quiet outing against the Merlus, where Marseille’s dominance left him largely untested.
