Jade Cargill shocked the WWE Universe last week by attacking Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and turning heel. The Storm initially ran out to the ring to help the champion against Kiana James and Giulia. However, after saving Stratton, she decided to launch an attack herself.
This week, the former AEW star could form a faction with two major stars on the blue-branded show – James and Giulia. Interestingly, the three were part of a backstage segment in August, right after SummerSlam, when Cargill came up short against Stratton.
James offered Cargill her business card, but the former Women’s Tag Team Champion gave it away to Michin. Now, in the form of a massive twist, she could end up joining forces with them and forming a new faction on the blue brand to take down Tiffany Stratton. This could eventually lead to The Storm winning the Women’s Championship from The Buff Barbie.
However, this angle is mere speculation for now, and only time will tell whether Cargill remains solo or joins James and Giulia.
Jade Cargill sent a strong message to Tiffany Stratton after attacking her
After a brutal assault on Tiffany Stratton, Cargill sent the reigning Women’s Champion a message on Instagram. She posted a picture of herself from last week’s episode of SmackDown, with the caption claiming that the gold was too heavy for the Buff Barbie.
“Gold looks heavy on her. I’ll carry it better. 😈,” she wrote.
Jade Cargill is set to battle Stratton for the Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. After the events of last week, WWE issued a statement claiming The Buff Barbie was injured but determined to go through with the match.
As a result, The Storm might have the advantage in the title match and could finally win the title this time around.
