Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti returns to San Siro this weekend as a foe to face former club Inter Milan in a blockbuster Serie A fixture.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 66-year-old will have vengeance at the forefront of his mind when the two teams face off on Saturday.

Luciano Spalletti spent two seasons at Inter, coaching the first team between 2017 and 2019, before the club decided to sack him.

However, he failed to achieve any standout success at San Siro, with the Nerazzurri deciding to replace him with Antonio Conte.

Fast forward seven years, Spalletti returns to familiar territory determined to make his mark against the club that once let him go.

Spalletti returned to Serie A in October to take charge of Juventus following Igor Tudor’s dismissal.

However, the former Scudetto winner has failed to consolidate the club’s top-four ambitions, with the Bianconeri sitting level on points with fifth-placed Roma.

Therefore, there’s a slim margin for error as they prepare for a potentially season-defining trip to San Siro.

Meanwhile, the Turin giants will be looking to post a third consecutive win over Inter in Serie A for the first time since 2013.
