Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard is out of contention for the squad for tomorrow’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italian giants hope to have him back for next week’s return fixture at the San Siro.
Unfortunately, Simone Inzaghi’s side cannot catch a break with injuries this season.
An ankle problem forced the ex-Bayern Munich star off against Roma last weekend.
Despite Pavard’s effort to recover, he will skip tomorrow’s encounter in Catalonia.

Yann Bisseck, who replaced the Frenchman in the 15th minute against Roma, will start against Barcelona.
Therefore, the German will join forces with Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Acerbi at the back.
Bastoni served a one-game ban in Serie A last weekend but will be eligible to play tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Inzaghi can only hope Pavard will regain full fitness in the next seven days.
On the other hand, Denzel Dumfries will probably return to the starting eleven at the expense of Matteo Darmian.
