Speaking on Bloomberg Talks recently, The Queen opened up about the impact and growth of women’s wrestling over the past decade.

“Women are capable of selling merchandise, putting people in seats, being top of the card, getting equal opportunities in the ring. So, just from the day I started, I had one goal to where I am now. So, do I feel things go like this? 100%. Do I think I’m as big a star as any male? Absolutely,” Flair said.

Charlotte Flair was a huge part of that women’s revolution, taking the women’s division to the next level. Flair was part of the first and only women’s main event in WrestleMania history.

She main-evented WrestleMania 35 alongside Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey in a Winner-Takes-All Triple Threat Match for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships.

Charlotte Flair not close to retiring from WWE

In the same interview on Bloomberg Talks, Charlotte Flair was asked if she still has goals in her WWE career. Flair acknowledged that she’s done it all, but she remains committed to the craft and has no plans of retiring anytime soon.

“I still have hopes and dreams within the WWE, and Charlotte Flair and my passion for wrestling means the world to me. I still have many years left on my career. But when I was injured last year, there is a shelf life for women in sports, and I really didn’t know or what do I want to do next? And I have really gravitated towards the self-care, mental health space,” Flair said.

Flair will turn 40 years old next month, though she remains one of the best in the world. With WWE’s less busy schedule, it ensures the better longevity of all the talent.
