Cody Rhodes spoke to the Bella Twins and Becky Lynch during an interview, where he discussed the topics he covers on his podcast, What Do You Wanna Talk About? There, he admitted that there had been times when the drink pours had been heavy, and this resulted in him getting too drunk.

The star issued an apology to Big E, Alexa Bliss, and another female WWE star he did not name, saying that it had been his fault for getting too drunk. He said that it was always after the show, when watching it back, that they realized how bad the situation had been. He said it was rough, that the shows had to be canceled, and that they would never air as a result.

“The pours have been heavy. I will apologize now… I have said this, so I’ll not make a secret of it. I will apologize to Alexa Bliss, Big E, I’m not going to name the other one because she’ll go ham with it. But three of these episodes will never make it because of how deep those pours were. It’s never my fault… I’m just kidding, it’s never their fault. It’s always my fault. 100%. I already have a lisp, so we’re starting out… when you’re starting out that way, and then you watch it like, I thought it was okay… It’s rough. It’s rough. So I wanted those to be better.”
