WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was at the premiere episode of RAW on Netflix this past Monday. The legend showed up with Jimmy Hart for a brief promo about the ‘Real American Beer’ right before the CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins headliner.

The Hulkster is one of the industry’s biggest stars and always receives fans’ adulation. Unfortunately, this time around, the Los Angeles faithful booed him out of the Intuit Dome. Sources close to the situation have informed Sportskeeda’s Dr. Chris Featherstone that Hogan admitted that the reaction may have been a political influence. A statement made was, “he stood for what they didn’t stand for.”

The reaction did not shock the Hall of Famer as he allegedly “thought it was going to be 50/50” heading into the liberal city of LA. From here on, there might be an increased level of mindfulness regarding the cities he chooses to appear live and promote his brand to wrestling fans. International fans might not be familiar with his backlash, and the boos he receives domestically do not reflect his perception internationally.

Aside from Hogan, other industry legends, such as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, John Cena, and The Undertaker, were all part of the show. Cena’s appearance was not a one-off, as he announced his entry into the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match on February 1, 2025. Last night marked the commencement of his Farewell Tour.

Hulk Hogan was affected by the assassination attempt of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump

In a sit-down interview with Patrick Bet-David’s PBD Podcast a few months ago, Hulk Hogan opened up about the assassination attempt of Donald Trump.

Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt during an open-air campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. The WWE Hall of Famer was shot and wounded in the upper right ear. Hogan recounted this incident, stating that it deeply affected him:

“When they tried to kill [Donald] Trump, someone that I knew personally, it affected me worse and I sat up off the couch. I said that’s it, this has to stop. I don’t want to split my audience as a businessman, but now I don’t care. This is much more than business, this is a spiritual revolution now. This guy is coming out trying to help people, he wants to help millions of people, he wants to help America have god in our country and our homes and our schools, and I said I can’t handle it,” Hulk Hogan said.
