IShowSpeed reacted to Danhausen winning with the help of a curse, to which he appeared frustrated and said:

“Hell no, bro! Danhausen always cursing somebody! Hell no!”

After the match ended, The Miz tried to execute a Skull Crushing Finale on the victor as he was celebrating. However, Danhausen proved to be smart, as the lights went off and he was able to escape the ambush by running up the ramp in the darkness. The Miz was left fuming in the ring.

Danhausen’s WWE debut garnered mixed reactions, prompting a comment from Jim Ross

According to WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, Danhausen was put in a tough spot in his first appearance in the Stamford-based promotion.

After weeks on anticipation about the contents of a crate, it was finally revealed at Eliminatio Chamber that Danhausen was inside the box. The reaction from fans was mixed with confusion. According to Hall of Famer Jim Ross, this was a misstep on part of the the company’s creative team rather than Danhausen’s fault.

Speaking on his Grillin’ JR podcast, the veteran stated:

“It’s like WrestleMania, for God’s sake. You just don’t… I don’t know, it put Danhausen in a tough spot. Was he ready for that moment? I don’t think he was. I think there are a lot of people who didn’t even know who the h*ll he was,” said JR.

With WWE WrestleMania 42 coming up, there have been rumors of Danhausen also being a part of the programming. It remains to be seen how he is used in the near future.
