The limited-field event feautres 20 golfers, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, at Albany Golf Course. Scheffler is the two-time defending champion of the event and hasn’t finished worst than second in four starts.

The purse at the Hero is $5 million, with the winner taking home $1 million.
What happened during Thursday’s first round at the Hero?
There were five guys who shot 6-under 66: Akshay Bhatia, Sepp Straka, Wyndham Clark, J.J. Spaun and Scheffler. Sixteen of the 20 golfers broke par. Only golfers didn’t manage to get into red numbers after 18 holes.
