Gillingham have completed the signing of Cameron Antwi from League Two rivals Newport County.

The midfielder, 24, has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Gills and becomes the club’s first signing of the January transfer window.

Discussing his move, Antwi said: “I am delighted, I’ve had a look around the stadium – I get a good vibe from everyone at the club and I can’t wait to get started.

“When I spoke to the manager I felt an ambition and there was a target for this club. That was the big drive for me.”

Fulham academy product Antwi netted six goals in 71 appearances for Newport after moving to Rodney Parade from Cardiff City in the summer of 2024.
