Even after beating the previously undefeated Chargers and the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles, the Broncos are seemingly unimpressed by Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart or the team's recent success.

In the days leading up to their Week 7 showdown in Denver, Broncos players publicly spoke about Dart and the Giants. And not everything said was golden.

“He’s a young guy. He’s feelin’ himself a little bit," Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper told the media on Wednesday. "He’s out there running around. He’s got the chain on. He’s dancing. I feel like everybody needs something, you know. ‘We’ve went against QBs who have ran around in the pocket and have tried to do stuff with their legs. So, ain’t nothing we haven’t seen.”

Broncos star linebacker Nik Bonitto wrote in a since-deleted post on Twitter how he felt about the Giants fanbase: "I've never seen such a delusional fanbase."

Dart responded to Cooper's comments to The New York Post on Thursday after practice, saying, "First of all, it’s normal. I think a lot of guys wear chains and dance when they score touchdowns. I appreciate him following my dance touchdowns and stuff. But he’s a really good player, so excited for the test."

While the Giants quarterback took the high road, fans were up in arms, and some of the team's star players reacted in kind. Kayvon Thibodeaux wrote Thursday night, "Hold on what I miss??" before posting back-to-back gifs suggesting he's ready for Sunday.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll was asked before Friday's practice about the social media tiff and didn't acknowledge it.

"The biggest thing is going out there and playing well on Sunday to play a game against a challenging…good football team," he said.

When asked directly if he felt the Broncos were "dismissive" of his team, Daboll brought it back to the play on the field.

"I'll just say this: that's a really good football team. None of that really matters. What matters is how you perform during the week and how you play on Sunday. We're in a competitive industry, emotional industry, but the most important thing is doing your job leading up to Sunday and ultimately going out there and playing well on Sunday."

Giants rookie Abdul Carter got in on the back-and-forth, quote-tweeting Cooper's comments about Dart and writing "put ya 3D glasses on."

He met with the media at his locker following Friday's practice and downplayed the social media banter, and said the game will dictate everything.

"We believe in our guys. I don’t want to put too much into it," Carter said. "We’re ready for Sunday. We’re gonna settle everything on the field."

He later added, "I wasn’t surprised. People say things, but like I said, we play in two days. We're going to settle everything Sunday…Trash talk, no trash talk, we’re gonna be ready regardless."

The Giants will look to pick up their third win in four games and their first road victory of the season when they take on the Broncos this Sunday.
