The Giants continue shaking up their roster ahead of cutdown day.

Big Blue announce that they’ve released safety K’Von Wallace on Sunday afternoon.

Wallace was signed during minicamp on a tryout basis.

The hope was that with his experience and familiarity in DC Shane Bowen’s system, he would be able to scratch out a role as the fourth-string safety.

However, things haven’t worked out and now Wallace lands back on the market.

Additionally, the Giants placed undrafted rookie cornerback TJ Moore on injured reserve.

Moore had to be carted off after suffering a gruesome leg injury with less than a minute left in the third quarter of Saturday’s preseason finale against the Patriots.

He underwent successful surgery on Sunday and is expected to make a full recovery.

“I just talked to him,” head coach Brian Daboll said on Sunday. “He was here with the team a little while ago. He was in good spirits but it’s definitely a tough injury for him.”
