On Busted Open, Tommy Dreamer thinks that the mystery person might be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The veteran thinks Johnson comes from a royal family similar to Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, and it would tie up The American Nightmare’s previous story.

“I think The Rock’s talking to Randy Orton. Well, I mean, when he said there’s another royal family. I’m like, ‘Is he talking to Cowboy Bob Orton? I understand it.’ Your grandfather was a great draw. Your father was a great draw, but then I’m also trying to think who the other royal family? And the other royal family is The Rock,” Dreamer said.

Johnson and Rhodes have unfinished business in the promotion, and The Final Boss also comes from a royal family similar to Orton.

Will The Rock return to WWE for WrestleMania 42?

WrestleMania 41 could’ve been very different had The Rock not disappeared from the weekly product following Elimination Chamber 2025. While John Cena and Cody Rhodes continued their feud in the coming months, The Final Boss’s presence was missed.

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select’s Debunkathon, the multi-time WWE World Champion hasn’t been mentioned backstage by anyone heading into the biggest event of the year. While many speculated a return for the event, the 53-year-old star is busy with other projects.

Meanwhile, the management introduced a mystery person on Monday Night RAW who agreed with Randy Orton’s actions. It’ll be interesting to see which star will leave WrestleMania 42 in Nevada as the Undisputed WWE Champion.
