No. 1 Georgia opened the 2024 season with a major statement Saturday afternoon, roaring to a dominant 34-3 victory against No. 14 Clemson in Atlanta, Georgia’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Bulldogs led wire-to-wire to pick up their third straight victory against their old cross-state rival. 

Georgia’s defense was dominant, as expected. It’s now been a decade since the Tigers last scored an offensive touchdown against the Bulldogs, and that was in a 45-21 loss to open the 2014 season. On the other side of the ball, UGA’s offensive depth took over as it scored 28 points over the past 30 minutes.
