A few months ago, Lacey Evans announced via Instagram that she will be making her return to the squared circle after being away for over two years.

“I will be returning to wrestling. Yes, the Sassy Southern Belle is on her way back. As you all know, I just did a signing in Las Vegas during WrestleMania and it really lit that fire,” Evans said.

She also mentioned the reason why she left WWE and why she has now made the decision to return.

“I stepped out of the wrestling business for my children, and technically I’m stepping back in for my kids. My four-year-old was just looking around at this signing. She has seen me on TV and she just wants to see it live. What kind of mama would I be if I didn’t show her?” added Evans. [H/T WrestlingNewsCo]

Evans already has beef with a former Women’s World Champion and could eventually start a feud with her when she returns.

Right after Becky Lynch had won both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania 35, she got into a feud with Lacey Evans. During an interview with popular comedian Bert Kreischer on the Something’s Burning Show, The Man revealed that working with the Sassy Southern Belle was “terrible” because Evans had just arrived on the main roster at that point.

This did not sit well with Evans. She had replied via X, calling out The Man.

“Dont hate the player. Hate the game. 😘 the only person who *shoot cried more than you was the baby I had on my hip while taking all the opportunities. 🫠 if/when I come back…..you will STILL do nothing but gently shake my hand and say “how cute my little family is” backstage,” she wrote.

Evans is still in training; the actual date of her return is still unknown.
