WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair reveals major health update

Recently, Ric Flair was honored with the Iron Mike Mazurki Award at the Cauliflower Alley Club. While the Nature Boy was scheduled to travel to receive the award, due to health issues, he had to cancel traveling to the venue. The WWE Hall of Famer appeared via video to accept the award.

Ric Flair revealed that he had a blood clot in his leg and thus could not travel for long hours. He also thanked everyone for honoring him with the award and appreciated people for showing up.

“I have a blood clot in my leg, so I can’t travel the five or six hours that it takes me to get there. And that was during the time right before the flight. But I wanted to thank you all for coming out tonight, honoring me. I’m so honored and privileged.”

The WWE Hall of Famer once again apologized for not being able to make it to the ceremony.

“So, once again, from my heart, I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person. I wouldn’t have missed it. I would have enjoyed shaking hands with all of you. I see a lot of you at conventions over the years, but there’s nothing like receiving a reward and knowing that you’re appreciated, whether you’re there or not. I can’t thank you all enough,” Ric Flair said.

Flair is also scheduled for a meet-and-greet on September 5th for the Ewing Athletics Collaboration in Miami, Florida.
