At Elimination Chamber this weekend, The Judgment Day member plans to do so. He is set to challenge Punk for the World Heavyweight Title in Punk’s hometown of Chicago. It will be a tough job for him to manage through the hostile crowd and dethrone The Best in the World.

Finn Balor had a chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship last month

The roles were reversed last month when CM Punk was in a hostile environment. Although he wasn’t treated particularly poorly, the crowd preferred Finn Balor to win. The RAW where Punk and Balor battled last time was in the latter’s hometown of Belfast.

On WWE’s European Tour, going into the Royal Rumble, multiple RAWs and SmackDowns were part of it. One of those Ireland shows featured Punk vs. Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship. Too bad that the former Universal Champion could not capture some glory in his hometown and returned empty-handed.

However, Finn did not take that loss easily. He attacked Punk the next week and ruined AJ Styles’ last match on RAW. That led to a rematch this weekend at Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship.
