On Instagram, Balor shared a video of him YEETing mid-match. This caught McDonagh’s attention, who asked the former Universal Champion to get down from the top rope.

“Get down from there,” wrote McDonagh.

This is what JD McDonagh had to say about The Judgment Day, the last time he was injured

JD McDonagh suffered a career threateaning injury in 2025 during a tag team match against The War Raiders.

Speaking on INSIGHT, The Irish Ace spoke about the drama within The Judgment Day while he was sidelined with an injury. He claimed that the faction needed him to hold them together. McDonagh said:

“They need me. It’s desperate times… Drama, politics, looks like I was the glue holding them together… What happened? I don’t know. People started talking about new members now, you got heat with me. It took me six months to get into Judgment Day, and you just want to throw the doors open?”

Finn Balor was confronted backstage on RAW by Liv Morgan, amid McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio’s absence. Shortly afterward, it led to him challenging CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on next week’s RAW.

Balor has claimed that he won’t be alone on next week’s show despite the injuries to his stablemates. It remains to be seen what tricks The Prince has in store for the show and if he’s able to dethrone Punk.
