The low-polygon design of the Tesla Cybertruck is polarizing to say the least, but there is one benefit to it. As skateboarder Leo Romero and the legendary Thrasher magazine have proven, the Cybertruck is perfect for grinding.

Thrasher posted a short clip to Instagram, showing Romero doing two tricks on the Cybertruck while a photographer captures the moment. With the truck backed up to a loading bay, Romero first does a 5-0 across the length of the Cybertruck, then does a kickflip to a 50-50 along the same edge. Since there’s one continuous edge from the bed up to the high point of the roof, and one all the way down to the front of the hood, it’s like two ledges to a skateboarder.

It is, to use the correct parlance, sick. Skaters see the world differently, and sooner or later, one was going to see a Cybertruck and think “I can grind that?” We’re glad they did.

Obviously this is not the craziest car-skateboard stunt of recent memory. Tyshawn Jones ollieing over a $5 million Ferrari Monza SP2 on a New York City street in front of a huge crowd a couple of years ago takes the cake. But in this particular moment in history, there is something very satisfying about watching Romero skate a Cybertruck. The commenters on Instagram are certainly having fun with it.

In any case, we can’t wait to see the photos.
