Speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, CJ Perry, aka Lana, announced her shocking return to the industry as an on-screen talent. The Ravishing Russian stated that the return will be on the indie scene, and she will look for the next super athlete to manage, where she will continue to work as an on-screen performer.

“So, I’m making an announcement that I will be returning back to professional wrestling, and I’m going to be hitting the indie scene… Definitely on the mic and managing, 100%. And that’s also why I’m enrolling in standup because I want to be so good on the mic. I want to be so sharp. I want to be so iconic… So, I’m going to start going to wrestling events, and I’m going to start searching for the next super athlete,” Perry said.

Will CJ Perry, aka Lana, return to WWE?

A few years ago, Lana was gaining steam on WWE’s main roster as a performer before she was released from the company in 2021. After she signed with AEW, she reunited with Miro but didn’t compete inside the ring. Last year, she talked about retirement, but she isn’t done with professional wrestling.

CJ Perry also signed a legends deal with the Stamford-based promotion, but isn’t returning to the company as an on-screen talent. Instead, she intends to return to the independent circuit in search of a new super athlete in the industry. As of now, she has no intention to return.
