There were rumors of heat, including McIntyre’s in-character interview, in which he said management didn’t like him. However, that’s not the case at all. One source told this author there is absolutely no heat on McIntyre, and that Triple H backs both him and Cody Rhodes. There is a lot of happiness backstage surrounding their feud as well. The reason he lost the title was simply for storyline reasons.
