Charlton are one of a number of clubs who have been linked with Galbraith, a player who is capable of operating at full-back but is viewed primarily as a midfielder by the Swansea hierarchy.

Galbraith left his homeland to join Manchester United’s academy in 2017.

He made one senior appearance for the Red Devils, in the Europa League in 2019, and had successful loan spells at Doncaster Rovers and Salford City before moving to Orient in 2023.

He has made 96 appearances for the London club and scored 11 goals.

Swansea are in need of midfield reinforcements following the retirement of Joe Allen and the January exit of long-time skipper Matt Grimes.

Lewis O’Brien had a successful loan spell with the Swans in the second half of last season.

They remain keen to bring the Nottingham Forest player back to south Wales, but are likely to face fierce competition for his signature.
