You see, the Farmers this year represents more than just its standard top-notch tournament. This year the Farmers will serve as Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour after being away at LIV Golf and the world wants to see it all.
ESPN is here to answer our call.
It was announced on Monday, originally on The Pat McAfee Show, that ESPN will bring PGA Tour Live coverage to its primary linear channel from 12-3pm ET on both Thursday and Friday for the opening rounds of play. The Thursday window specifically will coincide with Koepka’s return because of course it will.
Notably, this is serving as the first time in nearly (as was reported by the Tour itself) 20 years that ESPN will offer live coverage of a PGA Tour event that is not a major championship. To be clear this means ESPN the linear channel, the main one, and not a secondary channel option or additional service like ESPN+.

On that subject, while the broadcast will be available on ESPN the company is also lifting the broadcast to both Hulu and Disney+ for anyone who wishes to consume it that way.
Brooks Koepka is back.
