The NASCAR Cup Series is making its one stop to Texas Motor Speedway for the 2025 season.

The WURTH 400 is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on May 4.

Some of the best drivers in the Cup Series will be running toward the front with aims to take the checkered flag.

What to know: Chase Elliott has one win at Texas in the Cup Series’ last trip to Texas Motor Speedway and has a strong history of running there with eight top 10s in 16 races, including the All-Star Race at Texas in 2021 and 2022.

Denny Hamlin

Team: Joe Gibbs Racing

Age: 44

Hometown: Chesterfield, Virginia

Crew chief: Chris Gayle

What to know: Denny Hamlin has three wins at Texas, including sweeping the 2010 races. Hamlin knows his way around the speedway with strong showings at Texas Motor Speedway in the last five years.

Joey Logano

Team: Team Penske

Age: 34

Hometown: Middletown, Connecticut

Crew chief: Paul Wolfe

What to know: Logano has been one of the more consistently strong drivers at Texas, earning 16 top 10 finishes at Texas in 31 races, including the two All-Star races in 2021-22.

Kyle Larson

Team: Hendrick Motorsports

Age: 32

Hometown: Elk Grove, California

Crew chief: Cliff Daniels

What to know: Kyle Larson won the All-Star Race in 2021 and later won the fall race in 2021 with a dominant showing. In the last three years, though, Larson has one top 10 finish at Texas. That said, the 2021 Cup Series champion is a driver to watch in every race.

William Byron

Team: Hendrick Motorsports

Age: 27

Hometown: Charlotte, North Carolina

Crew chief: Rudy Fugle

What to know: Byron, like his teammate Kyle Larson, is always a driver to keep an eye on. Byron won at Texas in 2023 and has seven top 10 finishes in 12 starts at Texas.

Brad Keselowski

Team: RFK Racing

Age: 41

Hometown: Rochester, Michigan

Crew chief: Jeremy Bullins

What to know: Brad Keselowski has nine consecutive top 10 finishes at Texas, dating back to the 2020 summer race.

Christopher Bell

Team: Joe Gibbs Racing

Age: 30

Hometown: Norman, Oklahoma

Crew chief: Adam Stevens

What to know: Christopher Bell is good, but not great at Texas, with four top 10s in eight starts but with some poor finishes mixed in. Bell won three races in a row earlier this season but has struggled since and can turn it around at Texas.

Ryan Blaney

Team: Team Penske

Age: 31

Hometown: Hartford, Ohio

Crew chief: Jonathan Hassler

What to know: Ryan Blaney won three times in 2024, all vastly different racetracks including Iowa Speedway, Pocono and Martinsville. Blaney has won once at Texas back in 2022 but has struggled there in the last two races.

Tyler Reddick

Team: 23XI Racing

Age: 29

Hometown: Corning, California

Crew chief: Billy Scott

What to know: Reddick has a win at Texas, September 2022, but is either strong or struggles at Texas. Reddick loves 1.5-mile tracks and is a threat to pull into victory lane.

Austin Cindric

Team: Team Penske

Age: 26

Hometown: Mooresville, North Carolina

Crew chief: Brian Wilson

What to know: Cindric won last time out with a dramatic win at Talladega for his third career victory, two of which have come on superspeedways. The other was last season at Gateway, and Cindric is running well as of late.

Kyle Busch

Team: Richard Childress Racing

Age: 39

Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada

Crew chief: Randall Burnett

What to know: Kyle Busch has won four times at Texas, his last coming in October 2020. Busch struggled in 2022-23 but bounced back in 2024 with a ninth-place finish. Busch is searching for his first win since 2023, and Texas feels like a great spot to get the job done.

Chase Briscoe

Team: Joe Gibbs Racing

Age: 30

Hometown: Mitchell, Indiana

Crew Chief: James Small

What to know: Briscoe has four top 10 finishes, including two top 5 finishes, in six starts at Texas. He finished sixth in last year’s NASCAR Texas race.
