Patrick Reed’s birdie on the 18th hole of Saturday’s third round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic pushed the lone American in the field into a four-shot lead heading into the final round of play.

But it was a shot from another player on the same hole in the DP World Tour event that left the most lasting image of the day.

Andy Sullivan, who sits in a tie for third with Viktor Hovland through 54 holes, had posted a birdie on the closing hole in the opening round and an eagle on the same par-5 during Friday’s second round. But during Saturday’s third round, Sullivan’s approach came in hot and landed in a hospitality tent behind the green.
