The New Jersey Devils have recalled goaltender Nico Daws from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Utica Comets. In addition, they have re-assigned goalie Isaac Poulter to the Comets.
Daws, 23, has appeared in 14 games this season with the Comets, where he has a 3-9-1 record, a .900 save percentage (SV%), and a 2.96 goals-against average (GAA).
Daws has appeared in 46 career NHL games with the Devils, posting a 19-22-1 record, a 3.13 GAA, and a .894 SV%. He last played in the NHL during the 2023-24 season, where he had a 9-11-0 record, a .894 SV%, and a 3.15 GAA.
Poulter, 23, was recalled by the Devils back on Dec. 10 but did not play in a game with the NHL squad. In nine games this season with Utica, he has a 2-4-2 record, a .871 SV%, and a 3.32 GAA.
