NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick recorded his fourth win of the season on Sunday at Darlington, setting a single-season wins record for 23XI Racing just six races into the season. It’s all come in a contract year with NASCAR silly season right around the corner and Reddick’s future the biggest storyline.
On Monday’s episode of Actions Detrimental, 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin said that the team should have a contract extension done with Reddick soon.

Even before the Daytona 500, the expectation was that Reddick would sign a new contract with 23XI. Reporter Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic noted on his podcast that the team was expected to “break the bank” to keep Reddick.
The 30-year-old Cup Series driver made team history two seasons ago by becoming the first 23XI driver to win the regular-season championship and make the Championship 4. Now sitting atop the NASCAR standings with a 95-point lead over second place, Reddick has a strong shot at winning two regular-season titles in three years. Doing so this season would come with a 25-point bonus entering The Chase.

Assuming Reddick lands a contract extension in the next few weeks, 23XI will have its two top drivers under contract through at least the next two seasons. The team could also get even stronger next year, as top prospect Corey Heim is expected to replace Riley Herbst full-time in the No. 35 car.

It’s already been a historically successful 2026 campaign for 23XI, which is just months removed from beating NASCAR in court and landing a settlement that guaranteed teams permanent charters. The winning has carried over into this season and there stands a good chance 23XI finishes near the top of the owner standings in 2026.
