The New York Giants are expected to add Addison Lynch, most recently with the Denver Broncos, as a defensive backs coach.

Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports was first with the news on Friday night.

Lynch spent the last three seasons with the Broncos, the first two as a defensive quality control coach and the last as the team’s cornerbacks coach. Lynch was among the coaches fired by Denver head coach Sean Payton at the end of the season.

Lynch began his NFL coaching career with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2018 as a defensive quality control coach He spent three years there, ascending to assistant defensive backs coach. He spent a year with the Las Vegas Raiders as an assistant defensive backs coach and a year with the Detroit Lions as a defensive quality control coach.
