Ireland’s Aine Donegan slipped down the leaderboard with a disappointing three-over round of 74 in the third round of the Women’s NSW Open in Australia.
Lahinch’s Donegan shot 68 and 63 to lead at the halfway point in her first start as a professional on the Ladies European Tour (LET).
However, the 23-year-old mixed five bogeys with two birdies on Saturday to fall four shots behind Australia’s Hannah Reeves, who carded a third-round 66.
Regional qualifier Reeves hit six birdies in her round and almost holed out for an eagle three on the final hole as he leads compatriot Kelsey Bennett by a shot heading into the final round.

“I’m so happy with how I finished there,” said Reeves.
“I just kind of mishit a few approach shots at the start. I was struggling a bit. I did just stay really patient and just had a few nice feelings throughout my swing. And then it came together at the end, so [I’m] really happy.
“It was so special [having my dad on the bag]. My parents flew down this morning. I think he was a bit nervous but yeah, it was really nice.”
Thailand’s April Angurasaranee sits tied third, two shots behind Reeves, after a stunning 62 which included a hole-in-one at the par-three 12th, while England’s Charlotte Heath recorded a second successive 67 to move to nine under.
