Leon Slater recalled his journey to WWE
Although he is just 21 years old, Leon Slater had competed on the independent scene before arriving in TNA Wrestling. At such a young age, he has already competed in major shows and arenas.
During an exclusive interview with Kevin Kellam on Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Leon Slater said he dedicated over half of his life to this business with the goal of competing in WWE.
“Twelve years of my life. Over half of my life. All of my teenage and my adult years have been dedicated solely to this goal. So the fact that I’m finally doing it on a global scale, where, if anyone from home asks, or if any of my mom’s friends ask me what I do, I don’t have to show them me wrestling in some run-down club in front of 150 people anymore. I can go, ‘You know John Cena? You know WWE? Yeah, I’m doing that.” [3:15-3:44]
