Dallas Cowboys safety Markquese Bell was arrested on two drug charges Friday night, according to records from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.

Possession of a controlled substance carries a felony charge, while possession of marijuana is a misdemeanor.

The Cowboys did not comment to multiple reporters regarding Bell’s arrest. The fourth-year safety would be in violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy and could draw a fine and/or suspension.

Bell signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M in 2022. Prior to last season, the Cowboys signed him to a three-year contract extension worth up to $12 million. He went on to appear in 17 games (starting three), tallying one interception and one forced fumble with three passes defended, 41 total tackles and one tackle for loss.
