Corey Heim, 23, is one of the top prospects in NASCAR’s lower divisions. He currently leads the NASCAR Truck Series championship, winning five of the first 16 races of the year with ten top fives and 12 top tens. Heim made the Championship 4 in both 2023 and 2024, and holds 16 wins in the tertiary division.
Heim was signed as 23XI Racing’s first official development driver in a multi-year deal, and has made a handful of Cup starts with the team. He will be making his sixth career start and his third of the 2025 season later in August at Richmond Raceway, adding the event to his schedule.
Heim will again drive the No. 67 Toyota with backing from online trading platform Robinhood. Heim’s best finish in the Cup Series came earlier this year at Kansas, beating all of his 23XI teammates and finishing 13th.

Unfortunately, he also missed the race at the Chicago Street Course after suffering damage during his qualifying run. Richmond will be his first Cup race since that DNQ in Chicago.
Heim has some previous experience at Richmond, but not in a Cup car. He finished fourth in an Xfinity race there last year, driving for Sam Hunt Racing in his best career finish in the Xfinity Series. He also has three Truck Series starts at the Virginia short track, placing as high as fifth in 2022.
23XI Racing already fields three full-time entries with Tyler Reddick in the No. 45, newly crowned Brickyard 400 winner Bubba Wallace in the No. 23. and rookie Riley Herbst in the No. 35.
