Tonight at WWE NXT Deadline, Evans had another huge opportunity when he competed in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match. He entered the match in the number two spot. Je’Von was able to pick up the win at the last second. This win means that the Young OG became the first man to win the Iron Survivor Challenge after entering in the number two spot. Before tonight, none of the men had won from the number two spot. So, we at Sportskeeda congratulate Je’Von on his massive accomplishment.

Je’Von Evans has been turning heads in WWE recently

These past few weeks, Je’Von Evans has shown everyone why he is the future. He has also made a few appearances on SmackDown and even challenged Sami Zayn for the United States Championship.

Evans was also part of The Last Time is Now Tournament, where he faced Gunther in the first round. Although he failed to win the match, he took the Ring General to the limit. With this win, the Young OG will now challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil. Evans has had opportunities to win the title but has always come up short in the past.

It will be interesting to see if this time will be any different for the Young OG when he faces The Ruler at New Year’s Evil.
