Mysterio is currently engaged in a rivalry with The Vision on Monday Night RAW alongside Penta and Dragon Lee. The Hall of Famer has had a perfect career and might be heading close to ending his iconic run.

Rey Mysterio talks about his WWE retirement

It appears to be the retirement season, with multiple big names from the professional wrestling world hanging up their boots. Speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Rey Mysterio opened up about announcing his retirement down the line.

“I would love to make an announcement. I would love for the fans who have grown up watching me and supported my career from day one, of which there are still many around, to be able to say, ‘This is the last time I’m going to get to see him perform. I want to go take a look.’ I want to give the opportunity to those fans that have been loyal from day one. Prior to that, I would think, ‘I’m just going to retire one day,’ but it’s a hard thing to do when you start thinking about it.”

That said, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and the WWE creative team have in store for the Master of 619, given his time as an in-ring performer is running short, and who knows, this could be his final WrestleMania.
