The match at Vengeance Day saw hard-hitting action with both stars giving it their all for the championship. With The Culling in her corner, Izzi Dame continued to have an advantage throughout the contest.

Dame even got closer to winning with a Spinebuster, but Paxley continued to fight. Toward the end of the match, Dame inadvertently blasted Shawn Spears, who was on the ropes, with an elbow.

This allowed Paxley with an opening as she hit a rolling Koppu kick followed by a Cemetery Drive to win the North American Women’s Title. This win marked Tatum Paxley’s second title win in NXT.

Izzi Dame had cost Tatum Paxley a shot at NXT Women’s North American championship

As the feud between Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley heated up, they clashed at NXT: Deadline. Dame won the match after a distraction from The Culling’s Shawn Spears.

However, Paxley continued to target the faction, leading to another match against Dame at New Year’s Evil. This time Paxley came out on top. Later that night, Paxley decided to answer Thea Hail’s open challenge for the NXT Women’s North American championship.

But before she could get to the ring, she was taken out by Izzi Dame, who then went on to win the title from Hail. The rivalry has continued since then, with Paxley finally having the last laugh at Vengeance Day after winning the title from Dame.
