It is an extremely sad time for WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss as one of her family members has recently passed away. Little Miss Bliss recently sent a message on social media about the tragic news.
After a long maternity leave, Alexa Bliss returned to WWE TV at this year’s Royal Rumble. Since her return, she has been booked in several high-profile matches, including the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match and the Women’s Money in the Bank Match, but didn’t win either of the two competitions. Bliss is now gaining momentum on television as she recently won the Queen of the Ring first round Fatal Four-Way Match to qualify for the semifinals.
Ahead of her next major match, Little Miss Bliss took to X/Twitter to break the unfortunate news of her cousin, Vanessa’s passing. The star’s family member had been dealing with cancer for some time. In her post’s caption, Alexa wrote that she believed Vanessa was one of the strongest and most positive people she knew, before mentioning that she loved her and would miss her.
“The strongest fighter & most positive girl I know. my cousin Vanessa. I’ll miss you & I love you. Until we meet again,” she wrote.

Former WWE writer believes Alexa Bliss needed to win Money in the Bank more than Naomi
For those unaware, Naomi won this year’s Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase over several top names, including Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and Stephanie Vaquer.
During a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo said he believed Little Miss Bliss needed the MITB win more than The Glow, as the latter was already in a good storyline with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
“Go back to Money in the Bank, it’s the usual suspects. Naomi wins. You’re gonna sit there and tell me Alexa Bliss didn’t need this more to kick off the whole Wyatt Sicks program? We’ve been down this road with Naomi. Naomi is already in an angle with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.”
