Cody Rhodes seemed more than happy to have a sit-down with Jacob Fatu, and he took a shot at him, telling him there was a reason why he was arrested. While it would have normally been the stage for Fatu to lose it and launch an assault, he was eerily calm throughout the exchange. Passionate and calm are the best ways to describe Fatu’s demeanor. He told Cody that he isn’t like any Samoan he has faced before, and didn’t shy away from the mistakes he made that got him arrested.

But with all the children he had, Fatu admitted that he didn’t even know he had a job in WWE one month before he was hired. Cody reminded him that he was angry because their match could have been for the WWE Title. Fatu would continue to hit back on all fronts and had the last word as they got set for a huge match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

It was, in fact, Fatu’s involvement that cost Cody Rhodes the title, but it was also Cody who got involved in his brawl with Drew McIntyre, leading to that moment.
