Cody Rhodes faced and overcame Drew McIntyre once more at Saturday Night’s Main Event, effectively putting an end to their feud. However, he appeared to have suffered a knee injury during the match.
Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre once again had a great back-and-forth match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Utah, with the added stipulation that if Rhodes was counted out or disqualified, the Undisputed WWE Championship would change hands. This was to add to the stakes, and many hoped that as a result of this, WWE would pull the trigger on a shocking title change. As it turns out, that wasn’t the case.
