CM Punk’s status for tomorrow night’s episode of WWE RAW has been revealed. The Second City Saint picked up a massive win last night at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Seth Rollins was forced to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship due to injury earlier this month. CM Punk and Jey Uso squared off for the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and the former AEW star emerged victorious. Punk defeated Uso via pinfall after connecting with his second GTS in a row.
The promotion shared a video today featuring RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, and he revealed that the 47-year-old would be on tomorrow night’s edition of the red brand.
“History was made on Saturday, you got an extra hour to sleep on Sunday, and Monday Night RAW comes to you live tomorrow night from suburban Albuquerque, New Mexico, and we have a ton going on. You have a brand new World Heavyweight Champion, the Best in the World, CM Punk, and Punk will be live tomorrow night on the flagship,” said Pearce.
Punk defeated Gunther earlier this year at SummerSlam 2025 to become the World Heavyweight Champion. However, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract minutes later to capture the title. Rollins’ injury reportedly occurred during his victory over Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel 2025.
AJ Lee reacts to CM Punk’s major WWE victory
AJ Lee reacted to her husband, CM Punk, winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Lee teamed up with Punk to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match last month at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025. The former Divas Champion took to her Instagram story following SNME to share that she was proud of her husband.
“proud mama and larry @cmpunk,” Lee wrote.
Punk returned to the promotion at WWE Survivor Series 2023 after being let go by All Elite Wrestling. It will be fascinating to see who challenges The Voice of the Voiceless first for the World Heavyweight Championship in the weeks ahead on RAW.
