In a recent interview on Good Day New York, Punk talked about his win over Breakker. He said he survived and is still feeling the effects of the grueling match. The host pointed to a swollen ear, and Punk said his opponent was out to kill him.

“Oh, last night I wrestled a maniacal meathead that was trying to kill me, yeah…They all do [get personal]. They all try to rise to my level and get personal and really. That’s what the people like, though, right? There’s an old saying: personal rivalries draw money. That’s all we’re trying to do,” he said.

However, a report from PWInsider revealed that the rumors of CM Punk being in the concussion protocol are “entirely incorrect.” With that clear, fans will now wait to see what’s next for him after a successful Title defense.
